Team Kenya 2014 consisted of returning members Rev. Jon Greenstone, pediatrician Dr. Holly Hoffman and her daughter Marie, who were joined by returning 2009 member Phyllis Kelly and new members Kathrin Muegge, MD,  Tracy Sebold , Merri Sayler, Lisa Riffle, Betsy Miller, and the Chatlos family: Dr. Calvin (Phyllis's brother), wife Kim, and children Taylor and Liviya!  The team accomplished a lot in just under 2 weeks:
*0ver 400 Bibles (300 from Gideons) were distributed in Kiminini and Khalwenge
*Worship was held twice each day with Pathfinder Academy students; Pr. Jon Greenstone led but was assisted by Merri Sayler (a Methodist Deacon) and Lisa Riffle
*Packets of 10 varieties of non-GMO seeds for 450 families from Hope Seeds were distributed at Biointensive Agriculture workshops led by Pr. Jon Greenstone and Joshua Machinga at 4 villages in Kiminini and in Khalwenge. Funding for the seeds and a donation to Hope Seeds was made by the Sunday School classes of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, Carlisle.
*284 Little Dresses made by Carolyn Weaver were distributed to girls at Pathfinder Academy and Khalwenge village
*33 soccer balls from One World Futbols were delivered (the other 7 could not be fit into our 36 suitcases and will follow with future volunteers)
*3 suitcases full of medications were distributed at 4 medical clinics held at Mitumbe slum, Pathfinder Academy, St. Joseph’s Girls High School and Khalwenge village
*618 patients were seen by Drs. Calvin Chatlos and Holly Hoffman at the 4 medical clinics, with Dr. Kathrin Muegge running the blood sugar and malaria testing station
*Over 180 lbs. of medical supplies from Med Wish and several US hospitals were delivered to area health clinics (Kiminini Health Center and Mitumbe Heath Center)
*Over 100 solar Flashlights were given out to students and staff at Pathfinder Academy
*Bible school was held for all classes and grades at Pathfinder Academy/Lenana Girls High School and at Khalwenge village (by Phyllis Kelly, Tracy Sebold, Betsy Miller, Lisa Riffle, and Merri Sayler)
*Color photos were taken, printed and framed on-site for each child and staff member at Pathfinder Academy by the Bible School team
*20 quilts were distributed to those students with no family (true orphans) at Pathfinder, completing Girl Scout Kristen Clady’s Gold Award project
*400 toothbrushes and 288 tubes of toothpaste along with dental hygiene education were given out at Pathfinder Academy
*Over 300 eye exams were performed by Marie Hoffman with an auto-refractor purchased by Dr. Drew Stoken in Carlisle for our (and future) mission trips; glasses will be made for those who need them and shipped … over 180 pair of glasses!!
*“Helping Babies Breathe” trainings were given by pediatrician Holly Hoffman at 4 area village health groups (Mbai, Makwangwa, Kiminini Health Center, and Muthangare)  (see http://www.helpingbabiesbreathe.org/). Each village was provided with a kit containing an ambu bag, stethoscope, towels, bulb suction devices, hats, cord clamps and blankets. This project was funded by the women of Elias Lutheran Church.
